Being in one of the best locations in the central belt of Scotland,Whitburn offers an ideal base to travel and explore the many beautiful and exciting attractions that the country has to offer. Half way between Edinburgh and Glasgow, The Hilcroft is only 2 minutes from the M8 motorway which is the main artery to Scotland's road network.

To the north there is Linlithgow palace, Stirling and the Trossachs and to the South, the new town of Lanark and onto the borders.

Edinburgh castle is only half an hour by car to the east and similarly to the west you can sample some of the warm hospitality that those in Glasgow have to offer.
